My Ikea Wall Decor Sticker could not stick on the wall. I need help. ?

I just bought a set of paper flowers ikea wall to decorate my wall. Unfortunate, I have a rude shock that the self adhesive glue decorative wall does not work on the wall. My wall is painted with paint emulsion and which could be wrong but I think the glue will work on any surface. Anyone can help me with this? thank you much
